On December 1, alumni from 55 domestic cities and 1 overseas city participated in the 100-city Trail Walking Activity (hereinafter referred to as the "Trail Walking Activity") initiated by the Alumni Association to "Welcome the New Year and Bless the Alma Mater" for Southwest University alumni. At noon, everyone gathered at the gate of "Lingyan Mountain", the starting point of the meeting, to distribute souvenirs such as hats and other souvenirs from the Trailwalk Alumni Association. And used a camera to record everyone's reunion. This kicked off the "Lingbai Line" trip of the Trailwalk event.
The "Lingbai Line" starts from Lingyan Mountain in Mudu Town, Suzhou in the south (Lingyan Mountain was the former site of the Guanwa Palace of King Wu Fucha during the Spring and Autumn Period, and was also the place where the Yue State presented Xishi.) to the Baima Stream Longchi Scenic Area in Suzhou High-tech Zone (Baima Stream Ecological Park) in the north. , is an important part of the western tourist area of Suzhou, a piece of original ecological "green lung" whose historical and cultural heritage can be traced back to 2,500 years ago. It was the place where King Wu raised horses during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, and was the place where King Gou Jian of Yue lay on his back and tasted his courage.
The weather is extremely beautiful, and the warm winter sun is falling into Suzhou. Along the mountain streams, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. At this moment, old and new alumni of the Suzhou Alumni Association gather together to talk about the years of Southwest University. Today's trip is a side-by-side gathering among alumni that lives up to the bright spring scenery. "Yixing" means "walking with determination", which demonstrates the spirit of teamwork. You and I walk hand in hand, admiring the scenery of the sky and the sea, and talking about the feelings of learning and benefiting the world along the way. We also cherish Yi Xing.
The view from the top of the mountain is wide. When we reach this point, everyone is fully bathed in the sun, instantly dispelling the cold winter air. Coupled with the heat brought by the continuous walking, we feel warmer at this moment. I walked through the mountains and was fascinated by the scenery. I was lucky to have all the alumni who walked with me and never gave up.
After the event, we met together at the Scholars Tree Mountain Resort Hotel, followed the signs into the venue, signed in, took photos, and received the commemorative trophy of the 18KM Trailwalk.
